About Sharing Links
Authors can create multiple published links for each learning deliverable. Courso links are known as custom links. As each is essentially a custom link you create and share. This can be important, especially if you wish to share the learning to multiple clients. You can then choose to expire one while keeping the other active.
Once a link is created it is live [unless it already has an expiry with a past date to prevent people accessing it until required].
A learning with Live links will display the word LIVE next to the name.
A custom link can also have a set duration, causing access to the learning to expire after a specified period. You can also manually expire a link while keeping the link, or you can delete the link. An expired link can be edited with a new expiry [or none] and the same URL will be live again.
There are four types of links:
Public
Password Protected
Email
Domain
We'll show you how to create a Public Link for a Course.
βStep 1: Link Type
Navigate to the Course page. Then, under the Publish tab, select the Public Link type.
Step 2: Edit Link
Give the link a meaningful name and set an optional expiry.
Step 3: Publish Link
Select the 'Create Link' button to publish the link.
Step 4: Share
Now select the 'Copy' icon or the 'Dart' icon to share the custom link to a viewer.
π₯ Hot Tip: Creators will see a 'Live' label on both the learning card and the learning page when a link has been published.
