In Courso, a user under edit profile can add a layer of extra security. This is commonly referred to as Multi Factor Authentication [MFA] or Two Factor Authentication [2FA].
In Courso we use 2FA.
Steps to Set up 2FA
On the bottom left of the main menu click your name.
Now select Edit Profile.
You will see a popup and two tabs - select 2FA and then select Setup Now.
Follow the steps by scanning the QR Code into your preferred Authenticator app eg Google Authenticator.
Now enter the code generated in the app.
Once successful you will see a screen prompt.
Now every time your sign in, after entering the 1-time temporary passcode generated, you will then be prompted to enter a 2FA code from your authentication app.
