Introduction

Animation adds a layer of engagement to learning conntent, making it more dynamic and enjoyable to navigate.

Page Animation

To enhance the experience, creators have the option to set a page-to-page transition, known as 'Page Animation'. Applying one of five different page animation styles is quick and easy.

The page animation styles creators can choose from are:

  • None

  • Move Up / Down

  • Sideways

  • Fade-Out

  • Zoom

Simply navigate to the learning settings and select the 'Page' tab and select a style.

Content Animation

Animation applied to content blocks is known as 'Content Animation'. Creators can apply content animation either at the settings, or at a group. There are five different animation styles that can be applied globally to blocks.

The content animation styles creators can choose from are:

  1. None

  2. Fade-in

  3. Scale

  4. Rise

  5. Slide

Simply navigate to the learning settings and select the 'Content' tab and select a style.

Content Animation Speed

Creators can also set the speed at which content animation occurs on page. Under the content animation in the learning settings panel is 3 animation speeds that can be applied.

πŸ”₯ Hot Tip: Templates typically will have a default setting of Normal. The speed can be changed at any time.

Applying animation on a Group

Creators might wish to turn animation on, or off on particular content. The template may have a content animation style set applying to all groups.

The creator may not wish to have all groups animating, or maybe there is no content animation set and the creator wishes to have a particular group animate in a particular way.

Select a group on page and select the animation dropdown on the action toolbar. Then select a content animation style to apply to the group. The icon with a blue dot indicates the global content animation for the learning.

Group content animation is not available on the first layout on a page.
